It might be cold outside, but your heart is going to be warm and squishy this Family Day. There are tons of fun events going on throughout Hastings County. Here are our three top picks:

The Tweed Winter Carnival
Get a head start on the Family Day fun at the Tweed Winter Carnival. It starts on Friday February 18th, with a torchlight parade and bonfire, and continues throughout the weekend with events for all ages, including kids games, a 'teen scavenger hunt,' pool tournament, hockey, skating and curling, dog sled rides, community meals, fireworks and a live show. Family Fun Day at the Frink
Join Quinte Conservation on Monday February 20th as they celebrate their 70th Anniversary at the Frink Centre with an afternoon filled with fun family activities! Take a family hike through the woods or try something a little different and explore the trails on snow shoes! Relax by the fire and enjoy a cup of soup with fresh baked bannock, or roast your own hot dogs and marshmallows! Be entertained with live music and a variety of workshops and activities.

Family Fun Day at O’Hara Mills
Celebrate Family Day with traditional activities at the O'Hara Mill Homestead in Madoc on Monday, February 20th, from 11am-3pm. Enjoy skating, horse drawn wagon rides, live music, sled dog demos, food stands, raffles and more. All Proceeds will go to Children's Mental Health Services to encourage a happy and healthy experience for all families.
